So you want to become a Certified Pilates Instructor......
Missed our first intake? Why not register for our 2nd intake of Mat & Reformer in August and you can continue on to the Full Comprehensive Course in 2024
This is a rewarding career that offers high job satisfaction, in an industry that is growing at an unprecedented rate particularly on the Sunshine Coast which makes future employment very promising. With that in mind, choosing the right Pilates Certification becomes very important if you want to stand out in the crowd. With so many options out there, this can often be a perplexing process.
Doing a weekend course is often a waste of time and money in the long run. Time saving approaches to becoming an Instructor directly affect your learning experience and outcomes, depth of understanding and ability to teach a full range of clients in an effective and safe way whether it be a tailored approach or a group class.
Pilates is a complex movement therapy, so it’s a good idea to select a course that covers anatomy, pathologies and contraindications to movement. This will help to ensure you are providing the best Pilates experience for your clients and the best learning outcomes for yourself.
Attaining a recognised certification in Pilates instruction, which is valued by employers and clients alike, requires a thorough understanding of the Pilates method. This is only achieved through thorough training and practice. It’s also highly beneficial to select a course that is recognised by Australian professional bodies such as the Pilates Alliance Australasia (PAA) and ultimately one that is recognised internationally.
Pure Pilates is an established studio for over 16 years working within a clinical and fitness environment providing high level tuition that combines highly experienced Instructors and our allied health professional (Osteopath) to deliver a course that is of the highest quality. We have also partnered up with Body Organics online platform which makes our courses comprehensive, easy to follow and flexible . You will also be working in a well equipped studio in beautiful Sunshine Beach. Finally for people on the Sunshine Coast there is no need to travel all the the way to Brisbane for your face to face training and for those of you who are just looking for an excuse to get away, well personally I don’t think you could choose a better place!! We are also a friendly bunch and try to create an atmosphere that encourages you to want to learn so that you eventually develop your own style and passionately pass on to others what we already know is an amazing intelligent movement system we call Pilates.
